Help!!! How many eggs can u eat

Hi I have herd so many things about eggs ranging from there good for you to there not good for you and that you should only eat 2 a week lately I have been loving them and I want to eat them every breakfast the way I cook them is crack one into a microwave egg cooker and in 30 seconds there ready to eat like a hard boiled but still a little runny sometimes I will eat them on there own with a little salt and pepper and other times on a piece of toast please let me know what is a good amount and what is not

I eat an egg almost every day. I LOVE eggs and I refuse to give them up. Bananas also.
Most people say to give them up because of the cholesterol. However, all studies I have seen say that trans fats and saturated fats in our diet are far more detrimental to our LDL cholesterol levels than food cholesterol.
So have your egg. And eat it too. :flowerforyou:0 -

I eat 4 a day and Im losing with no issues

I have my own chickens so I get good healthy fresh eggs, love them and eat at least two a day.0

Eggs are really good for you. The yokes have a good amount of cholesterol in them, but eggs have actually been shown to lower LDL (Bad cholesterol) levels and raise HDL (Good cholesterol) levels.0

Eggs are good for the protein, check to see how your protein is at the end of the day. Sometimes we for get to eat the protein we need. They give you energy!

When I was with LA weight loss, I could only eat 3 eggs a week, because of the cholesterol in them. Don't want to over do a good thing.0

I eat them at least 4 days a week, 2-3 eggs at a time - so easily a dozen a week! Love 'em!0

I can eat upward of 10 a day.
I like around 6-8 but can go upwards of 10-12. you'll be fine.
eat all the eggs.
and bacon. because eggs without bacon is just sad.0 -

Let's see, they're about 1.66 calories per gram and our eggs are about 45 grams. At 2800 calories TDEE that's 37 eggs per day. Assuming I live to 75 years old that would be 418,655 eggs.0

I'd say two a day based on no good scientific evidence, just personal tolerance.0 -
There was a period i forgot to eat eggs for a few months,my HDL went really low.That was the only change I made in my diet.I added back eggs to my diet,its normal now.My husband has hereditary cholesterol issues so I only give him the whites,keeps his ldl in check.So unless you have any cholestrol issues you are fine with the eggs everyday.0

Soooooo, there are good eggs and there are not so good eggs. If you have a source for REAL free range eggs (like your neighbors hen's our your own hen house or just a local farmer) and can ensure the hens eat bugs and grubs then you have good eggs. A goo give away for a good egg is the color of the yolk. Super nutritious eggs have a yolk that is resembles and orange hue rathe than a yellow one. If you can find a local source for duck eggs, even better (although duck eggs do have more cholesterol so if you're concerned over that, perhaps do a bit more research).
