I guess I will be dropping dead with you if that is the case...............

I eat at least 4-6 eggs, 1/4 pound of bacon and between 1/2 - 1 pound of beef per day also...........

Those items make up the bulk of my eating plan......................

If I am going to drop dead any moment I am wondering why my Dr is telling me that my inflammation factors are all decreasing at an amazing rate????

    Shouldn't the opposite be happening???

Unless a mad scientist knocked you out, put a bomb in your heart through surgery and has given you an impossible task to complete before it detonates, I don't think your heart will explode.

I'm concerned that you think a pound of beef and six eggs is a lot. I'd hate to say it, but you may be suffering from Dinosaur Anorexia. I recommend you seek help.

Of course not. Eating massive amounts of animals is every human's dream. I mean, look at our HUGE canine teeth. We are obviously carnivores. Just like all other carnivores, we have amazing pouncing ability, and humans just never, ever die of things like heart disease and cancer.

Even if they did, it's not like meat consumption has anything to do with heart disease or cancer. Or our omnivorous digestive system and amazing ability to make projectile weapons to get those yummy, yummy, bloody meats....

Go to the doc and ask to have your numbers: HDL, LDL, triglycerides, total cholesterol. That'll be your best gauge. :)

Sources? (for the 'omnivorous digestive track" part, AND the "meat has nothing to do with heart disease or cancer" part)

Here's a link regarding the digestive tract -- from a vegetarian group, no less. https://www.vrg.org/nutshell/omni.htm
I shall paste from the conclusion: "Humans are classic examples of omnivores in all relevant anatomical traits. There is no basis in anatomy or physiology for the assumption that humans are pre-adapted to the vegetarian diet. For that reason, the best arguments in support of a meat-free diet remain ecological, ethical, and health concerns. -- [Dr. McArdle is a vegetarian and currently Scientific Advisor to The American Anti-Vivisection Society. He is an anatomist and a primatologist.]"

Please note that he's not saying you HAVE to eat meat. As a matter of fact, he's specifically saying you don't have to and he doesn't think you should. He's just saying that this reasoning is bogus.

The problem with putting forth refutable arguments (such as that we are naturally designed for veganism) is that it throws everything else you have to say into question.

While saturated fat is slightly inflammatory it certainly won't be compared to a diet with a high n:6 which your diet isn't. Animal fats are pretty low in polyunsaturated omega 6's, which is a good thing.
