I will not do it all !!!! My Story

Hi I am a 30 year old 5'8' Guy, Up till 2013 I had friends and people around me, who appear to be smart as F@#$, have careers full of slam dunks, had celebrity looks (ok maybe not celebrity level, but they had no weight issues) . Mean while I was ballooning, on my way to becoming obese, but i was in denial about my weight gain, until I saw my pictures of a family vacation.
I should also tell you apart from my weight I was and am also struggling in my career (which involves a lot of unsatisfying hours at the desk). Cherry on the top was that I have not been in a relationship for years (Last girlfriend in 2005). So I was on my way to get a triple whammy, for being Poor, lonely and FAT. (I find being Poor and Fat ironic, I don't know why)
This situation in 2013 was after a background of not being able to follow through on many of my goals made before in life, Watching a lot of youtube motivation videos (which was like driving a car with a tank on reserve fuel, with nitro boost ). Then came the New Year 2014 resolutions were made and broken by 15th January, like every year.
But 26th january 2014 , was the day it all changed for good (at least so far), it was the day I decided that I will never ever, never ever , never ever, never ever, never ever remotely try to do it all !!!!
So what I do is: (or not do)
1. Not worry about eating clean, so i eat what i want to, (I save on little will power)
2. I don't worry about losing weight fast, I have set my goal at 0.25 pounds a week (actually I have been losing at a fast rate, I don't know why) (I save on little will power here also)
3. I exercise when I feel like it, I walk or jog or do weights, depending on how I feel. (I save on little will power here too)
4. I don't worry about going in the RED, sometimes. In fact I make it a point to go in the RED on birthdays and Family holidays. (I save on little will power)
5. I compensate for going into the RED in the days that follow, I put a little of my will power here in keeping within my calorie range.
I recently completed 50 days of logging, I am losing at a steady healthy rate, I have lost 7 Kgs (in 50 days), maybe I am logging higher values for the things I eat(I need to check that)
Felt like ranting my brains out here today, sorry for such a long rant. I absolutely admire the people here, who can do it all, who have lost so much weight and look great. People at MFP are very supportive and knowledgeable. Thank you People. Do add me as a friend, i would love to get and give some motivation (Nitro Boost).
PS: Sorry for my English , its not my first lang.

Fantastic! Too many people try to do it all at once and get overwhelmed and quit. You have worked out the plan that works for you. Nice work.0
