Reverse Dieting - Slip Up

Hey guys,
I'm doing a Reverse Diet and it went well for the first two weeks. I established my current metabolic capacity and am now slowly increasing my calories with minimal weight gain. I'm also doing 2 HIIT sessions and 5 days of training.
But, this Saturday I slipped up and ate well over my current caloric level.
Would anyone recommend I drop my calories for a day to compensate? Or would this just compromise the metabolic capacity gains I've achieved.
Sorry if this is a vain question. I just worry about gaining weight. It might be something I just need to be more patient with. I'm a girl, so the mental stress of this is sometimes difficult.
Thanks!!!

I don't know anything about this system. But in general, just go with the next day. It's behind you. Go forward.0

I balance. The idea that our body runs on a 24 hour clock is ridiculous0

having a lower day after (or a few days) would be my advice.0
