Show me the way!

Is there a way to train yourself to like certain foods?
There's a ton of healthy foods that I think aren't good, but I wish I liked them.

EX: Tomatoes, Avocado, Cucumbers, Dark Chocolate, Fish.

I dunno if there's a way to 'train' your tastebuds. But, try everything cooked 7-10 different ways before you discount them. I did this and I feel like I eat way more different foods than before. You just got to find the right recipe for the right foods. It takes a little work, but it can be done.

On another note, when I stopped drinking full sugar soda, my tastebuds did a complete 180. Drinks like tea, which I always felt tasted bitter are now really sweet to me.

It's a weird thing to go through, but it's pretty interesting!

I thought I didn't like brussel sprouts until I had them lightly steamed with no sauce. As Ninkyou said try them several different ways before you rule them out. But also remember there are tons of healthy foods out there and you don't HAVE to like every single one.

    I don't like dark chocolate...so I don't eat it...I prefer milk chocolate.

If you don't like them don't worry about it...

    Hmmm! Good idea :)
It's interesting how cooking it different ways makes the food taste totally different!

I think you can train yourself to like it! I used to hate broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus. Now I'll eat them all!
