Fiber muffins- blow your butt out lol~
I am looking for a blow your *kitten* out fiber muffins... having major issues with "that" while pregnant despite drinking tons of water, eating high fiber, beans , and taking stool softeners.
looking to make muffins so I have something easy and quick also to have before gym... I need it to have at least 10 grams of fiber

oceanspray brand makes craisins that r 10g fiber in every 1/4cup. and they r 50% less sugar. make what ever muffins u want and eat some craisins on the side!!!!:happy:0

I remember that feeling!!!!!! It sucks!!!!!!I have no recipes to add in but just wanted to tell you that I've been there and it sucks!! I eat fiber one bars. But that's all I can think of :-)0

I have the same problem... I had a splurge meal last night of garlic parm wings and 2 slices of pizza.... that blew my butt out. I think it's because I've been eating so clean. My body couldn't handle it!0 -

but I've had good luck with special k cereal or those fiber one bars. eat LOTSSSSSS of fruit. Good luck0 -
1/4 cup Flax Meal
1 Egg
1 tbsp Butter
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
Mix together together in a mug and cook in the microwave for 1 minute. It pops right out and it's super easy. If you're really in a hurry, you can make a large batch of the dry ingredients and so all you have to add to 1/4 cup of the dry mix is the butter and egg. If you want even more fiber, add some plain metamucil. This is my standard "get things moving" breakfast.
Edit: Oh, and if you do include the metamucil (1 tsp) it's 13 grams of fiber.0
