So just wondering is this a good healthy alternative to use in recipes? Has anyone tried it and is it good?
Was going to make homemade oat flour pizza tonight and was just curious about it. Thanks

Just zap it in the food processor until it's turned into powder, then use about 20-25% less of the oat flour than you would regular flour. Keep extra in the fridge.
Love it, it also gives whatever you're using it in a really good flavor. I use mine in banana bread0 -
I'm not sure if its any healthier than regular flour...but it can be a gluten free option-if gf oats are used to make it. Other than that, its probably more dense and won't rise quite as much. I'd just go with wheat flour unless gluten is a problem for you. Not sure if you live near Publix, but they have a GREAT pizza dough in the bakery section fridge that they make every day. White or wheat.0

Interesting, I've never used it. Wouldn't using less flour just make a smaller product??0
