Weight Loss Mystery

I started losing weight in January, since then I have lost 10lbs. I have slacked a little over the last month but just stood on the scales and I've not gained.... which is obviously good and clearly not water weight lost.

The only thing is, I've not took any measurements but I don't feel any smaller, clothes still fit the same etc.

When I googled "what does 10lbs of fat look like", the images shown a hell of a lot of fat, an amount I'd surely see come off my body.

How is it that I've lost 10lbs but don't see it??

Like I said it's not water weight as I wouldn't have stayed the same weight for a month.

Any ideas??? Anyone in the same boat??

Maybe it's shaved from areas where your clothes don't necessarily touch, like your face, ankles, arms? I generally notice weight loss in my face and limbs first.

Your body has a lot of surface area that is padded with fat. If you shaved a little off of everywhere, it isn't necessarily going to show up.

You store fat over your whole body. When you lose weight, it's not like your body takes a big 10lb chunk off your left butt cheek. Sometimes it comes off the strangest places. For example, I have lost 9 pounds, and instead of my clothes fitting looser, I've noticed my wedding ring now spins on my finger like it never used to. I lost weight off my fingers! What a stupid place to lose weight... but I'll take it. After all, you can't spot lose.

Keep going, and eventually, you will notice it in more obvious places, once your fingers, toes and face have lost their extra fat stores!

Haaaa! I'm so glad I read this! My rings are totally looser and my face seems like it lost too BUT clothes aren't fitting looser - obviously!!!!
