It doesn't seem much, but...

I just held a 10lb weight above my head for over a minute using only my bad arm!

For those who don't know, a summary: several injuries to same shoulder + one to wrist = poor strength, pain when trying to exercise it, long wait for physio, dismissed from physio before fully recovered, wonky almost-one-armed gymnastics... the list goes on.

Given that my record up until now for that arm was 2lbs, I'm very pleased indeed! I'd like to be able to lift properly one day but I need that arm to do its share of the work so I don't destroy my other shoulder.

*skips off happily*
