Meal plans for the next day

Does anyone else plan out all your meals for the next day? I don't always do this, but I find that if I do, I'm more likely to stick to my correct calories and I'm less likely to snack on bad food. It's also hard for me to know if I'm staying within my macros when I don't plan out my food. I was just curious if anybody else did this.

Yep! Every night before I go to bed (while I'm snacking on something, because otherwise I'm starved after thinking about and planning food.. Heh) I open a Word Doc and fill in the next day. I always fill in breakfast, lunch and dinner so I know I can eat satisfying meals. Then I fill in my snacks around them. It really works for me, especially when I have a treat or event that I want to fit in.

Every weekend I make a big croc pot of food and portion it out into tupperwear and that is my lunch for the entire week. I make personal quiches so i have breakfast every morning. I also portion out veggies, nuts, fruit, and yogurts for my snacks throughout the week as well. The only think I make daily is dinner.

    Nope, never did.

Most of the time I don't know what I am having for breakfast, lunch or dinner until I am actually in the kitchen. I do have an "idea" but not a detailed plan. I enter my food after I am done with my meals.

Edited to add: I do make sometimes extra food (meat loaf, chili, soups, stews, etc.) that I freeze for further use by entering all the information in the recipe building section of MFP
