hi all
can anyone tell me if pedometer readings are an accurate guide? i did 15,594 steps yesterday (hand delivering leaflets for a work promotion) and my pedometer said i had burnt 692 calories and 8000+ steps were aerobic......................does the 692 sound realistic?
thanks in advance

I usually log about 100 calories per mile.
I do that because my boyfriend says Jillian Michaels says that's how much a mile burns.
I feel like my GPS thing Endomondo and MFP greatly exaggerate the amount of calories a walk burns.0 -
i was out walking for 3 hours so i probably did 6 mile......if i was eating exercise calories i would probably only use 50% anyway. thanks for advice0
