Difference between "extract" and "juice."

Hi all!

I'm currently drinking Skinny Elixir, which is made up of various "extracts" - acai, blueberry, goji berry. It's VERY clear from drinking this stuff that it has none of the sugar of fruit juice! And while the company lists the nutritional information for everything else they make, they list none for this; it almost seems like it's nutritionally void.

I have a request in to the company for that nutritional information just in case, so I can track it (and see how it affects my journey into ketosis...). But maybe you guys can help me - what is the difference between juice and extract? Google is failing me, but I'm finding maybe something about extract being the oils taken from the seed of the plant? How can one be so delicious, and the other so gag-inducing?!
