I've not got much weight to lose in the month I've been here (in fact I'm aiming to change my body fat percentage from 25% to 20%), but here's another reason to start lifting heavy once you're near your goal weight. A couple of weeks ago I reported that both my US and UK pants fitted better with cardio and 1200 calories

I then moved on to kettlebells about two weeks ago, and eat at TDEE minus 300 cals. I've lost an inch each from the waist, abdomen and hips, half an inch off the thighs, and 1% body fat. I started TOM at the weekend, and like most ladies here everything stopped at this week's weigh-in/measure-in...

Anyway, I went to the hairdresser's today, in jeans and a jumper. When I told her I worked freelance she guessed I was a dancer!!! Incorrect, but incredibly flattering!
