Up and going on the morning, dd has pictures at school today so need to get her all done up, should be fun. But have a busy day ahead with lots to do.
All I can say is I hope this sinus headache goes away it did not help with me getting much sleep last night. Hopefully tonight will be better.
Will check in tonight.

AFM: Had a pretty good night last night. Went over my calorie limit by 7 calories. But it's okay. I didn't have time to get my run in, but did do Shred level 3! So still felt pretty good!
Plan today:
B-Kix, skim milk, coffee w/sugar-free creamer
S-Banana, Chewy 90 cal bar
L-??? Big lunch out with my co-workers....will try and choose something healthy
S-Chewy 90 cal bar
D-Leftover night...little big of turkey spaghetti, pork, potatos, peas and carrots, chicken and rice, pasta w/cauliflour....not sure what I will choose
S-Frozen yogurt, reduced fat graham crackers

I'm looking forward to the weekend. I bought a bunch of tulip bulbs that I'm going to plant. I've never done bulbs before so I'm excited. We're also going to stain our deck, probably pull up our summer garden plants, mow, thatch our yard, and reseed some spots. Wow, now that I've listed all that out, it sounds like a lot!
Still haven't had any candy!!

I am completely behind by a day! I weighed myself yesterday morning thinking it was Tuesday but forgot to actually log it in. I am back and determined to lose weight before the holidays!0 -
Did want to add that I ran 0.35 of a mile yesterday. That's the furthest I've ever run nonstop, and it's about half-way to the kids' school! :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:0

Hey girls I found my wedding dress!!!!! I am ordering it and should be here in a week or so. I wanted you all to see it so I am using it a my pic for now. I hope to lose these last 25 lbs so I can wear it. And if I need to have it taken in at all it should be quite easy. Just wanted to show it off.:flowerforyou:

Kel, beautiful dress!! You'll look great, and it will feel great to watch them take in the dress.
Mom, hang in there, apparently there are no roofers out there that need any money. Check some general contractors too. Maybe they can help.
Amy, great job on the running! That is a goal of mine too. I run a little every week.
Kristen and Tracy, aren't girls fun. My biggest pet peeve is they always have picture day's on my girls' PE days. So they can only dress up so far. Kinda sucks.
AFM: I had a pretty good day. My trainer kicked my butt today. He is crazy!! The girls in my office have an old pic of me and were comparing it to they way I look now. They are also trying take off weight themselves, so it helps to have that help at work and help from my family at home. I'm determined not to give up this time.
Tomorrow is Friday and I'm tired tonight. Think I'm going to get me a snack and hit the bed early tonight! Goodnight all!0 -
Good evening everyone and new sixers!
I am checking in late today because today was stressful at work. I work for an orthopedic shoe manufacturing co and I (me=one person) had to get everything done for the end of the month. Remember the other person I work with is on maternity leave. I told her before she left that when she came back and I was the skinny minnie, that it was due to stress. It is very hard and fast paced, but when the slow days come I am more than happy to take them.
Shannel...thanks for the adivce, Maddy hates her hair short, so maybe that will be the next move I make
Kristen..you are inspiring me to keep going...I will finish the 30DS
Kel...great choice on the dress, you will look amazing
Amy...small babies steps will get you to where you will succeed
Today was also Maddy's pic, she realized it 10 seconds before she got on the bus, thank goodness for retakes!
DH woke up late, and of course I then woke up late. Maddy had a softball game tonight and I should really be doing homework, so no time to work out. :sad: But I still managed to stay under my cal intake. I liked my food log entry yesterday, when I submitted it, it told me that I would be at 195 in 5 weeks, but then today, not so good, it told me 198. I love that little tool, it may not be very accurate, but I like knowing that those pounds will soon be off! Anybody agree?
Alright, time to go need to get DD in bed its past her bedtime!

I have ALWAYS been overweight my entire life. I guess you can say that since I started gaining pounds from a lil baby (1980) all the way up to til 2002/2003 I never stopped gaining til 2002/2003. When I went on the scale and seen the 189 ib mark I made a vow to myself I would NEVER reach the 200 ib mark and since then I NEVER seen it. On the beginning of my weight loss journey in 2002/2003 I started going to in person weight loss support groups. I started off with WEIGHT WATCHERS...i lost at most 10 ibs a week, than with the 11 dollars a week for the weigh in i decided that's a little too costly and i could afford a few WEIGHT WATCHER MEALS with that a week. Then I joined another in person weight loss support group called TOPS, stuck with them for a year or so, lost quite a few pounds, went all the way down to the 150's. Then I stopped going all together and gained back 30 ibs, just 9 ibs away from 189!!!! Now the 30 ibs didn't come all at once, it came back slow and gradually.
This month is the start of the new BIGGEST LOSER SEASON. I get motivated about the same time EVERY YEAR....LOL....than i stop in less than a month...but THIS TIME it's DIFFERENT!!! I'm sticking with it til the finale of this season. By January 1, 2011 I will start the year off in BETTER SHAPE than I am in right now...AND IF I still need more work done to me I will order the POWER 90 SYSTEM....I really want to do the P90X program, but I heard that if you start off with the POWER 90 PROGRAM, it will run a little smoother than if I just started on the P90X PROGRAM0 -

shanell....i agree, roofers must not need the money. someone is suppose to show after church on sunday. you are doing GREAT. and looking wonderful. I am envious.

afm...waiting for a roofer to show up someday, before the next rain maybe. DH is going back up there this weekend to see if he can't find something else. if nothing at least tarp the darn thing.
i stayed within my cals yesterday surprised me, but it did it. spending the weekend putting together a new schedule for me and build a new routine. good as time as any in a new place still getting it together.
need to get to work. i like getting my office work done early than i play the rest of the day.

Hey ladies. Happy Friday!
I am not doing great on the food train or the exercise. I have not felt good at all this week. I think it is because we all got dehydrated last weekend. dh and I went to AZ and spent a weekend with friends which included going to a college football game, the Oregon Ducks vs the Arizona Sun Devils. It was 107 at the game that day. I drank a ton of water during the game and after but it didnt help and we have all be paying for it all week. Even my friends who live in AZ!
I was having a water retention problem in my legs and feet and it was hurting so I took some prescribed water pills that I have for these situations because I can stay swollen for weeks....well, I did lose 5 pounds overnight but it dehydrated me more. Seems silly. I felt like poop yesterday. I am better this morning so far and hope to get to the gym tonight. Picking up an extra shift Saturday and then my nephew is spending the night Saturday night. I will still be able to make it.
Goals this weekend(weekends are SOOOO hard on me)
1: Stay within cals Saturday and Sunday
2: Go to the gym Friday night, Saturday and Sunday
3: Clean out spare room in our house that we are going to make into the "closet" room(very old house with very little closet space) our house is from 1926

Friends from out of town are at my mom and dads so I'm going there for dinner...I'm sure it will not be low in calories and she'll have some sort of dessert, so I'm sure today will be my off day. I also probably won't get in any exercise because I'm heading there after work and won't be home until late. But it will be my first day off in a while, so I won't cry.
Weekend plans:
Saturday--Shred day 17 level 3, and hopefully a run--then we are off to a b-day party for my husband, his twin brother, and our brother-in-law out at my sister-in-laws house. They're having a chili cook-out...so will have to pick and choose carefully with what I eat, but I should be fine.
Sunday--Shred day 18 level 3, and hopefully a run--then it's cleaning house, laundry, and grocery shopping, the usual Sunday routine.

Poor thing, she had raised her hand but before she could ask her teacher to go to the bathroom, she started. She said once she started she couldn't stop. I told her next time, don't even bother to tell the teacher to just go and that I was sure the teacher would understand. So for the rest of the day I plan on eating within my cals, cleaning some and then lounging.

well went out and weeded the huge flower bed. mowed my little yard. so don't miss the acre. was out there about 4-5 hours. came in did some work, showered, now time for some lunch and maybe a nap. found 4 rose bushes in the jungle. need to get an ax and chop down some unwanted lttle trees. and woody vines. vines are wrapping around everything. not good.

Thanks everyone!!! I am so in love with my dress. I finally have the motivation that I need to get going again. I just did my new workout I got (well I got it last month did it 3 times and got side tracked) Its called Melt it off with Mitch Gaylord. Its circuit training with a 2 lb medicine ball. Its way tough. A whole lot of core work. So I got that in with an extra areobics work out too. I may regret doing so much at once but I needed it. So now I feel like I am back in the loop.
Kristin you are doing so GREATon the shred. Isn't this your 2nd time or 3rd time doing it. And are you seeing the same changes as I did. I know that my shape sure changed, especially in the waist area. I am hoping that this new workout will do the same. I just got burnt out with jullian's shred and wanted something different this time around.
Wow there are so many new faces here on the sixers. Its going to be hard to catch up. And to all of you that have been hanging in there while I was gone, it's going to take some time to catch up with you too. I sure feels great to be back.

good morning everyone,
hope you'all have a great weekend. mine is somewhat busy, sams, walmart, lowes, show houses today and tomorrow, church, roofer suppose to come by, do some more yard work.
has been just beautiful out side. planting some mums today.
need to see when sams opens, 2 days of under calories. i even had a big bowl of ice cream last night and had the cals for it.

I am working today. Its all overtime so that is nice but we will see if I do it again. Its in a department I usually dont work in. Urgent Care. I am not sure how I will like this but if I do then I will work again next Saturday. Extra bucks!
I did not go to the gym last night. I am so upset with myself. I am going right after work today. No excuses.
Not sure of todays plans for food. Its Game Day for the Oregon Ducks which means an intense college football game. We will be watching with the the in-laws. Hopefully I can focus on watching the game and staying away from the snacking foods!

Well I did my second day of the melt it off!!! I guess I worked out too close to my breakfast cuz I promptly threw up after wards. I am a little sore from yesterdays workout. I am sure I will be tomarrow. Have to keep on keeping on...0
