so I'm thinking of drinking lemon water in the morning and in the evening. they say it boosts your metabolism plus it has other good effects but I've read some stuff on the internet and they always say "warm lemon water" or "combine lemon and warm water" does it have to be warm? i don't really like warm water plus my mom did it once in cold water and I tried it and it was ok. and does it make a difference if you use warm or cold water?

I only use lemons in water at restaurants when I make my poor man's lemonade. Never heard of lemon juice boosting metabolism...0

Drink it if you like the taste of it but the only effects it will have is it will help hydrate you and unsurprisingly taste of lemons0

If there's any sort of difference, it's going to be so insignificant that you tolerating it warm will not be worth it. It's much more worth it for you to drink it cold because you enjoy it, and will be more likely to drink it more often. Any way to get more hydration in your day is a good thing. (:0

in one forum I read that you have to rinse your mouth with plain water right after drinking lemon water to get rid of the acid that's damaging your tooth enamel and you can't brush your teeth til 1 hour after you drink it0 -
so I guess it doesn't affect my metabolism at all? but I'm still gonna try it cause it's detoxifying, clears your skin and most importantly hydrates you. thanks guys!0
