are they almost exactly right for my calorie burn? also what should my heart rate be when exercising?

    They use an algorithm so they are only as good as the algorithm and there is always a margin for error. They are reasonably accurate for steady state cardio only

    That depends on what your trying to achieve, what you are doing, what your age and fitness level is now.
