cream of rice

Hi everyone,

I saw some gluten free cream of rice at the grocery store and picked some up to try. I'd never tried it before. It actually tastes a lot like cream of wheat just a slightly different taste. Does anyone know if this is a better/worse option then cream of wheat or oatmeal? I'm just looking for variety in my diet. Does the cream of rice raise your blood sugar like white rice would? Just curious if anyone is familiar with it.Thanks
