Differing Scales

I just weighed myself today and came in at 118.6 lbs (!!!), a number I'm 100% positive is too low. There's no way I'm under 125, I was at the doctor a week ago and weighed 129, which I'm still around. My scale has always underestimated, but it's pretty consistent about it, so my question is whether it's okay for me to just use the number from my scale when I do weigh-ins. My weight loss goal is more about my body shape and how I fit my clothes than numbers, is there anything wrong with using slightly skewed numbers?

I would only count one source. I would weigh in at the same time, clothes/non clothes, etc to rule out variables like weight of clothing, time of day, water weight, sodium, bowel movement or lack thereof. There's many different factors. Scales will always vary, so only use one

I know! super frustrating to see the different weights. what ive personally been doing is using one scale to see my progress, dont go to other people scales and confuse yourself and be discouraged. have a starting point and YOUR scale and whatever the number is, who cares! as long as you see the progress and the numbers going in the direction you want-- which you will--youre fine.

Use the scale you have used from the start unless you have to replace it.

I only weight in so I know when I can eat maintenance...
