Hiker looking to lose weight

Hey guys!
I'm an avid hiker and camper who runs a blog about hiking called HikersBlog.
I've always been a bit too fond of the grub, and like many I've often fallen victim to the "Oh I've burned it off" line of thinking which leads to overeating.
Four weeks ago this Friday I decided to do something about it and started cutting out simple sugar from my diet and living off healthy foods. At that point I was 82kg and 26% bodyfat.
Now almost four weeks later I'm 78.5kg and 21% bodyfat so things are going well.
I want this to stick so I decided to start using MFP to track things - my target weight is 75kg, which is a weight I would like to maintain long term.
Any other hikers here?

Me! I love hiking. I see this is a few weeks old but good for you having great results with the changes.
A few weeks ago I ran into a mountain lion on the trail and now I am all paranoid and a little behind on my yearly mileage goal. I need to play catch up now!0
