5'2" Female, 129ibs, anyone similar?

Hi All :)

I gave up my scales for lent, thinking this would stop my current stress about losing weight, however now I'm just petrified of putting on weight and being devastated when I get them back. So I'm completely cleaning up my diet. I've lost 11 ibs in the last 10 months, through taking up exercise 3x per week & doing 5:2 for a little while. I've stopped 5:2 now though because I am now going to the gym 5 mornings a week and this wasn't working well (headaches, dizzyness, vomiting after a gym session). So, Ive been doing that for almost 4 weeks, and for the last 2 I have been introducing myself to the clean eating idea. And today I can safely say I feel better already, I don't even want to eat anything that doesn't fit in to the guidelines (win). Anyway, If anyone has similar stats to me and is planning on losing a few more pounds then I'd love to know how you're doing it! :)

Hello! Congrats on your loss thus far. I'm 5'3.5" and started back in June at 170 lbs. The key for me was logging consistency and learning moderation. I practice iifym (if it fits your macros). For me, that means I aim to get about 80% of my calories from nutrient dense, whole foods and 20% for fun things ;). This has worked great for me both in weight loss and in maintaining. This is the link that truly opened my eyes.

I also fell in love with weightlifting. I think it's important to love what you're doing both in fitness and in your diet for it to be sustainable long term. Good luck!

Hello! 5'1.5 and 133 right now. Would die to see 125. Spring of 2012 I got down to 117 (it was hard to maintain though) . Really focusing on getting toned. Nothing is working so far =/
