Belly Bloat!

Hi guys! Ive been not doing too bad with my weight loss recently, and last week my stomach was looking quite nice ! Ive been doing cardio to try and drop the weight along with some free weights and not eating that bad ( had a few little slips with my birthday just past and cake and wine/beer lol, but this week my stomach is just so bloated!! usually i drink about a litre of water or more during work hours and then if im at the gym I'll be drinking more as i excercise! Have any of you any tips on getting rid of the dreaded bloat! I know i should probably cut out sugar, but i cannot stand tea with no sugar in it lol although saying that i don't consume more than two cups a day! Should I just get drinking more water and get on with it or have any of you any god tips for this ? many thanks :) x

Water, fiber and no added sugars will do the trick. Believe me... I had to get off of the sugar too and it took me a while to enjoy a cup of black coffee... now I wouldn't have it any other way.

I was having the same problems and at first it was because I changed my diet so drastically e.g., tons of vegetables, my body took a month or so to adjust to that increase and get rid of the bloat. After that it turned out to be the amount of fruit I was eating. Remember... fruit is really good for you but sugar is sugar and your body doesn't know the difference. I limited my fruit to about a half a serving a day and only in the morning with my yogurt and not even every day. The bloat went away as a result. That's what worked for me.

I also eat a high percentage of protein (chicken, pork, turkey, fish) which helps because it's harder to digest and keeps my system moving right along.

You could also try Slim Tea. It's a honey/lemon herbal tea that they typically sell near the vitamins in the grocery store. I have a cup of this tea almost every night before bed and almost always wake up with a (not to be gross), really good movement... and a flat belly as a result.

Last... I usually eat some type of fiber about every three nights right before bed. Yup, I said it... right before bed. Like I'll literally have a small bowl of Fiber One cereal with almond milk and go to bed minutes after. The Fiber will get rid of that bloat like magic... but don't over do it on the fiber lol

Good luck, let me know how it goes. Hope this helped.

Brilliant reply thank you very much , did you find the change to almond milk difficult from ordinary milk in your cereal ?

Promise i will try and cut out my sugar intake especially on my cups of tea! I just love a little cup of sugary tea lol !

I'm currently eating crunchy bran cereal which is quite high in fibre every morning :) !! perhaps switch the milk for almond also!
