calories and macros not matching

Hey everyone.

So i discovered this morning that i had 30 calories remaining for the day but was in the red for each of my macros. I added it up and according to my protein fat and Carb grams, I should have been 100 calories over budget.

I checked mango in the usds database and got the following information:

Mango: 100g
Calories: 60
Fat: 0.4g
Protein: 0.8g
Carbs: 15g
Fibre: 1.6g
Sugar: 14g

If i add up the fat, protein, and carb calories based on grams (9,4,4 calories per gram)
I end up with 67 calories. I know its not much but avocodo for example should be 160cals but I added up to about 200.....being off by 50-100 calories every day will eventually catch up with me so.....

Is there a step I'm missing?? Am I supposed to not count the fibre content or something?

Hope this makes sense.

    1. Numbers can be rounded up.
    2. Database doesn't account for fiber.
    3. Improper entries in the database since people suck at math.

Being a few grams off +/- won't make that much of a difference. Its just all about consistency. Focusing on hitting your macro goals being consistent and it'll all work out.
