Do you see any change in my body?

Yes. The shape of your body is the same but I CAN see a differnece. Are you exercising? You need to exercise, and right away. Get the muscles working WHILE you lose the weight.
Keep it up!!!!
I promise you, if you do total body exercise, the "chichos" and everything else on your body is going to change, tighten and look snappy!!!!0 -
I'm not wearing two sports bras. haha. It's the same one in a different color. I see now that it was just caught underneath which is why it shows more back roll inthe second picture *shudders* And I chose to wear what I'm wearing because I'd like to have my ultimate after picture in a sports bra anyways so I wanted to keep a pattern. Toned tummy is my goal!
By the way, if you work out proberly, you're whole body will be toned. You don't just want to work on one part (anyway, you can't. If you do ab work only, your ab muscles will be tight but you won't be able to see them. Work the WHOLE body.)0 -
Every journey begins with a single step. Consider this your first step. You're not going to win a marathon in 10 minutes.
Also, it's more important what you think. Your self esteem shouldn't be tied opinions on mfp messge boards.0 -
Hard to say from the pictures, but the numbers don't lie. Eat right and exercise, you'll get there IF you don't give up.0

I do see a little change, not a great amount but there is some. May I ask if you're seeing a difference in the way your clothing fits?
I think that getting frustrated and learning to deal with that frustration is part of the process. This is a huge big deal, nothing to treat lightly.
One does not do what we're attempting to do unless that person is ready for lengthy, drastic, phyiscal change.
Your courage is an example to all of us. You've shown some normally hidden body parts and bared your soul, too. You've asked us for a little bit of approval and some encouragement. Well, you've got it from me and from many other people here as well. Keep up the good work! You will succeed!0 -
Your stomach is less bloated looking in the second set of pictures..In the first set, it was round. I'n the second set it looks like you are deflating quite well. Whatever you are doing, definitely keep up the great work. We don't put on weight overnight and we wont lose it overnight but you are off to a great start!! Congrats on your loss, that's major!!0

Not a whole lot of change yet, but you are very close to seeing some. Don't quit pushing!!!
this is true ^^^ , you will see a difference soon keep going , give up now you will regret it.0 -
No I don't, but you lost 18 pounds so its working. Keep at it and you will get there. Remember it took a long time to put on that weight don't stress over doing it quickly. It's not a race, you just want to succeed no matter how long it takes. :flowerforyou:0

I definitely notice it in your arms, and like others have said, perhaps your face has slimmed down? Keep up the hard work!!0
-
I do see change in your body, you may not but I guarantee if you start strength training and hitting weights, you will see a difference. I'm basically saying you need to start toning before you lose too much. I'm 245 today and I do cardio everyday and weights and my body has lost 3 inches. Tone tone TONE!!!0

There is a difference in your arms. It is not really noticeable on the rest of your body, but it is still early, so I would certainly not worry about it. Are you exercising at all? It will help on the long run.0

I think that getting frustrated and learning to deal with that frustration is part of the process.
This. So much. Don't get down about slow progress. I know it's hard to stay motivated when you're not seeing the results you hope for... I'm feeling that right now too. The scale is moving so you know you're doing something right. Just think of it this way: Baby steps in the right direction is better than no steps in the right direction. Count your calories, do some cardio, work those muscles, and you will see results. Get it, girl!0 -
A little bit in your tummy, like others have said. I started at over 240 and I think I lost my first 20 pounds from my face.0

I would take some measurements and compare those if you aren't already (didn't read comments). To me, the frontal picture looks like you've lost a few inches. You looked "wider" in the top photos. I've noticed that where I carry the majority of my weight is the last place to lose. For example, I'll get small arms, stomach, etc, but my thighs will still be bigger until I'm significantly down. Good luck, keep up the amazing work!
ETA: Weight can come off of some strange places, too. My wrist and ankles get smaller, as well as my neck, which aren't places I generally look at for weight loss. So there's a good chance that a few of those pounds are coming from unexpected and generally ignored areas of your body.
Edit again: Your arms look smaller on the side photos, too. By the way, props on keeping the belly ring out. You'll want to keep him out until your body readjusts to your liking. It doesn't happen to everyone, but I was unfortunately a victim of migration and scar tissue after weight loss which sucks.0 -
My stomach looks like it hangs much lower which sucks... Not sure why that is.
I think your stomach appears lower because its less full. Are you measuring inches? I think you'd see a difference.
Are you strength training? I think you're going to see some loose skin for awhile and that will help.0 -
Regardless of whether you can see any discernible change in pictures, you know it is there on the scale. It will start to show big time soon.
What you should be thankful for, aside from the number change on the scale, is that you have someone in your life that is complimentary and supportive. So many people come on here and are sad because there is no one in their life that provides any cheerleading or encouragement. Sounds like your mom is right there for you.
You have scale victory and a great family member.
Celebrate!!!!!0 -
A little bit in your tummy, like others have said. I started at over 240 and I think I lost my first 20 pounds from my face.
I seem to lose top down as well.0 -
I wish I could see your pic but I'm on a ****ty tablet. I just want to give some encouragement. Don't give up, I didn't see a difference until I lost 30lbs & others didn't really notice til close to 40. I would recommend takng measurements. You can get one at your local fabric store or a walmart/target type place. You mom probably can see a difference. She's knows you & your body well. My husband mentioned my weight loss at 10lbs but not anyone else. I think its coz we're always together. Don't get discouraged. You'll start to see the difference. Give yourself time. Best of luck0

Its a bit hard to tell but I can bet that you've lost weight in your face. That was the main place I lost weight at first and so do several others! Just be patient though. You're doing great so far!0
-
I don't see much of a change yet from your photos.
It took me over 40 pounds lost before I started seeing a change. But then it was like, WHOA!!
Keep at it...it takes time. A lot of time. So much time. And lots and lots and LOTS of patience. And consistency. But when you get there, it's worth it. :flowerforyou:0
