It's working, it's working!

This may sound dumb, but it's working, it's working, it's working! It took awhile, but I feel like I finally have a good handle on what is working to help me lose weight (essentially trying to eat at least to BMR and eating to my TDEE per fitbit - 1000 calories). I've now lost the expected amount 2 weeks in a row, after a month of stalling and frustrating up and down.

It's silly, because the math and basic science say it should work, but actually seeing it work is great. I'm now over 40 lbs lost from my highest weight and getting closer and closer to being under 300 lbs for the first time since right after college. It's good to feel more confident in what I'm doing and not second guessing everything or changing things up too soon because I'm not seeing results.

So if things aren't moving for you, or you feel stuck or you feel like it's not happening fast enough - be patient. Give things a chance to work before you monkey with it. Read up, choose a path and stick with it. It'll happen for you too. And while it may not seem like much - there have been plenty of times I've felt like I wasn't losing fast enough or enough at all - it does eventually add up. Forty pounds! That's a lot!

Congratulations! Ftbit is awesome for realising hoe much you move and burn during a day :)
