My bestie invited me to come and join her gym. It is in the inner city and looks like someplace Rocky would have worked out in his first movie. A big boxing ring, heavy bags, free weights, a few treadmills... and not much else. It certainly wasn't much to look at, but I thought I would give it a go. The people there were VERY nice and were welcoming. After just three weeks, I went to a gym close to my job that is clean, and shiny, and has cardio theater, and 8 large screen TVs.... and beautiful equipment.... because that is just how I roll. I know.... it makes me a diva.... but I just couldn't stand being in that grungy, broken-down looking place. Ewwww.
