We are having baked chicken and a salad. I can't think of a side. We have had brown rice or quinoa every night this week (wheat spagetti last night). Any ideas? TIA!

TJ's has a couple different types of risotto in the frozen section, Asparagus or Mushroom. It's a very interesting grain and has a creamy/luxuriousness to it. . Be warned, the asparagus one is VERY asparagusy, they actually add additional asparagus flavor to it.

Buy some mini ciabatta buns and turn them into little garlic breads :) Or couscous, also delicious.

I love the farro from Trader Joe's! It's in a little light blue bag near the pasta area. Farro is an ancient grain that is high in protein. Very healthy choice! Google it! You just boil it in water, so simple. Even my picky 12 year old son loves it!!

Miniature potatoes. 4 is a serving. So tasty plain, they don't need any topping.

I think these guys about covered the grains.

But check to see if they have their Jaipur Vegetables. It comes in a little box with a microwavable packet, for two. It's so yummy! 170 calories for half the bag, and I serve it with some brown rice. So cheap and easy and good. And vegetarian, for anyone who cares o:

Go to Trader Joe's and get a roll of Polenta. Cut it in slices (or cubes), saute in a bit of olive oil until brown and crispy, salt and pepper to taste. I use it all the time in lieu of pasta. Yummy!
