To answer your question:
type in [ img ] then paste your gif, then follow with [ /img ] (no spaces)!

Like this:

[ img ] http://www.writersbloq.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/tumblr_mebwwzWnE51qlxyddo1_400.gif [/img ]

(I put in spaces after img on purpose so it wouldn't post the gif and you could see how it's done!)

This is after posted correctly with no spaces! Good Luck!

If you drag and drop an image into the reply box it will upload, and put the proper link formatting for you.
