New to lifestyle change

I am interested in a healthy lifestyle overall. I have a 44lbs. weight loss goal but I want to maintain a healthy selection/portions with my foods.In addition, I would like to begin a weight training program as well so I recently purchased P90X. I just have to get myself mentally prepared for that program.

I was just told about this site yesterday and so excited about what I see here already. Welcome any suggestions and connections.
