im having calorie issues :(

I didn't realize how little I've always ate I've read about the 5:2 an 4:3 diet an realized that's how I've always ate I only eat when I'm hungry an that's literary once a day how do I fix this problem and get in shape I'm down a total of 23 inches from all over since feb. 23rd but my weight has not budged I'm almost positive my inches was all water weight I workout daily an only take 1-2 days off when I try to eat 1200 calories a day im stuffed so stuffed my stomach hurts I eat a lot of veggies (cabbage, carrots, broccoli, onions, tomatoes) an some meat usually fish, tuna or chicken but this is the stuff I've always ate I'm 5'7 an 185 I travel a lot an gained the weight from eating out but now I don't eat out at all and im back to my normal routine of once a day eating (I've always ate once a day even as a child an growing up) so it's a really hard habbit to break I've never been a big sweet eater ive always liked veggies (I know im weird) but I do love sweet tea or coffee with cream an sugar but I only do 4 cups a day I know it's my calories holding me back but I don't know how to get the calories I need without gaining even more weight I need some serious advice please help im feeling extremely discouraged :(
