Recommend me some filling foods.

Looking for recipes or foods that are either filling as hell or something I can eat a lot of without feeling like I just murdered a kitten. My usual go-to's for this are whole grain stuff and tuna or cottage cheese, but I feel as though I should broaden my horizons. Plus I don't want mercury poisoning.

    half egg/half egg white omelets with plenty of fibrous veggies. Use a bit of low fat cheese and some hot sauce too :) Mine are usually the size of my head for about 500cals.

    I've noticed that I'm most satiated with high fibre/ high protein combinations. Example: sweet potato with greek yogurt, salad with chicken or grilled salmon, greek yogurt or cottage cheese with berries, etc...

    My favorites are
    nibbling on a quest bar throughout the day and drinking lots of water
    carrots dipped in some type of nut butter
    my homemade turkey jerky (I have info if you are interested)

    Im a big nibbler, I feel that it keeps me from eating too much at meals and getting a stomach ache.

    Any meat sauteed with 1/4 white onion, 2 baby mushrooms, zucchini and garlic... Low cal go for shrimp (take the tail, shell and legs off, it's done when it's pink //about 3-5 minutes)

    Cottage cheese mixed with cinnamon and vanilla is great poured over a sliced microwaved apple

    Slice 1/2lb mushrooms up, sautee with garlic, onion and seasoning of choice (I like season salt), add in 3 cups of spinnach once mushrooms are cooked, cook about 2-3 minutes to 'wilt' spinnach. (I cook the mushrooms and onion, put them in a bowl with uncooked spinnach then microwave for about 1 minute at work and it's a great snack! Can also double recipe as it's pretty low calorie but delicious.

    Be sure to use a light cooking spray (or wipre the pan with a very small amount of oil) for all these - too much will add calories.

    I find if you eat absolutely anything with 20g or more sugar, the craving nasties kick in. Most people and I would have to say especially women could crash tackle just about anyone to get a sugar hit to satisfy themselves.
    Here's my advice, believe me ,it is a based on experience.
    Most people think it is carbs, it is only carbs if they too are loaded with sugar.
    To find foods to satisfy you more you need to get the sugar under control and then eating any protein rich foods will easily satisfy you no problem.
    But if you eat sugar rich, no amount of steak will cut it.
    Here are some examples you may or may not like.
    Breakfast:
    Eggs (any style) omelette's are great, load them up with spinach, bacon or ham.
    Oats, with protein powder
    Quinoa with almond milk
    Snacks
    Yoghurt, (but not that flavoured crap, the plain stuff and then add your own fruit, go easy on the fruit)
    Add in some seeds, sunflower, sesame, linseed
    Cheese.
    Tinned tuna, great snack.
    Protein shakes are great, mixed with water even better.
    protein bars are fine, so long as the sugar is also low.

    P.S: If sugar cravings do kick in, have some on hand so you don't crash tackle anyone for it. I find Sugarfree chocolate bars are awesome. You get the sugar hit, without the spike and the Well Naturally brand tastes great.

    I drink a ton of water before, during, and after I eat. If I do this, it doesn't matter what I eat, I'm stuffed! High fiber foods do help though.
