So last Tuesday I got strep throat. Then this past weekend I got the flu. I haven't been to the gym in a week today so I feel gross. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it is bad to go to the gym when you have been sick? I am feeling much better today, but I don't want to make anything worse.

I wouldn't. Get rest and get better first.
I hope you feel better soon:flowerforyou:

If you are feeling good today I'd say go for a walk. It'll be good for you to get out, get some fresh air and a bit of excercise. But I really wouldn't go whole-hog at the gym... not to mention you might still be contagious..

Exercising helps boost the immune system. If you're feeling up for it, I would exercise. Maybe nothing super intense, but like...walking on the treadmill or something should be fine. Feel better!

Thanks so much for the advice. I think I actually got the strep from the gym! It appears to be pretty nice outside so maybe I will just go for a walk after work.

I like to workout when I'm sick. It gets out of my system quicker, espcially if it's a cold. But, you have to know your body
