Sore from Ab workout...

Hey guys,

So I have been weight lifting for about a month now...doing the whole body recomp thing until I get these last 9 lbs off. Then I will be just lifting at a surplus...

Anyways. I hadn't been doing any "ab" workouts per say, but Tuesday night, I was on my legs day (I do the 4 day a week, lower/upper body for now, until I get used to the workouts) so I decided to do some Ab workouts that I had learned from when I did Insanity.

I didn't even do a whole lot, maybe 10 minutes including rests. And my abs have been KILLING me since. I stretched them out the way we did in Insanity, but clearly I did something wrong? Or they are just that out of shape..?

Any one have advice to eliminate that? It is making my other workouts a little rough...

    likely normal soreness from not working them for a while... you might try to incorporate abs into your weekly workouts, that way you dont have the pain effecting your other workouts...
