2 Since September 2011 I had lost 48kg. I had my gall ladder removed 12 months ago and since then my weight has slowly been creeping back up. I have gained 25kg. I wanted to do soemthing to kickstart my weight loss again and so I tried the Fat Blaster Coconut Detox 2 day plan.
I just finished the 2 day coconut detox. I read many reviews and was quite scared doing it. I knew 2 days wouldn't harm my body so I went for it.
I lost 4.6kg in 2 days. I still ate...plain greek yoghurt, baby spinach, carrot, broccoli, beetroot and tomatoes are all I ate for two days plus the sikly sweet coconut mix. And I cheated a tiny bit on day 2 and had a black coffee, (this was for my family, he he he)
Has anyone else tried this? What did you think?

I don't see the point of doing this diet. Most of what you lost is probably water weight, so don't be fooled. To lose 9 lbs of fat, you would need to have a deficit of 31,500 calories. The issue with these programs is you are cutting foods that you need.. .like proteins. Besides, there is no need to detox as your body, that is the job of the kidneys and liver. What I would suggest, set a moderate calorie deficit using MFP (about 1.5 lbs per week) and try to exceed your protein/fat goals daily or modify it to add in more protein. Most people should aim for 1g of protein per lb of lean body mass pending you don't have kidney issues. Try to also start exercise, if you don't as that will improve the odds of longevity. Make sure you have weight training/ resistance training with a little cardio.0
