Spacing out calories through the day?

I'm making a real effort to space out my calories better. Before yesterday, I was eating my last 2000 or so within the last 4-5 hours before bed...and it was making me stay up late, feel full, etc. Now I'm trying to get in half of my food in the first half of the day. But since I'm upping my calories again the past few weeks, it makes it even harder. The physical eating part isn't a problem...I've never been one to shy away from food and can eat even when I'm full. It's the mental aspect that's hardest...

For those of you guys who are also eating a lot and doing a controlled surplus, how do you space it all out without obsessing over food, running to MFP to log a few times a day, etc.?

Thanks.

I bulk cook- I pre-weigh all my food into indvidual containers- so I know what exactly I'm grabbing.

I pack my lunch- then log it all when I get to work.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy- also I use the ap on my phone.

Is there a reason you're not eating earlier in the day? You mention not having an issue with hunger.

For me, I just always batch cook a few times a week as well. At least enough for the next 2 days. Just like anything else, it's good to keep a good routine as well, trying to eat around the same times, With Wife and 3 kids under 7, I try and make food as convenient as possible as well hahahah
