Educate me on Smoothie King?

When I'm busy at work and I can't find time to make myself anything, I just swing by Smoothie King and grab myself whatever smoothie meets my needs for the day. But earlier at GNC I overheard some men talking about the low quality ingredients they use, something about not having enough nutrients to absorb the protein they use, how overpriced they are, etc. What do you think? Obviously it's a better alternative than McDonalds, but heck, they're definitely not kidding about it being expensive. What about the nutritional part though? Any opinions?

I think people should be aware when they go to Smoothie King. It's not the worst choice you can make, but people seriously underestimate the calories packed in those things. Not to mention unless you tell them not too, they add a ton of sugar.0

Yeah, I typically order a Slim&Trim, no turbinado, add protein. Some of the calorie counts on other smoothies are jaw-dropping to me.0
