I have been doing great on my diet, most people I know have made compliments about me losing weight, I feel so much better with energy, my migraines are gone (blood pressure related) and I feel like a new person just after a few pounds shy of 30 lbs. However my wife and I were out today and decided to have a cheat meal. We went to the golden corral, bad idea. I had three decent size plates and a small plate of dessert, still drank water and had a very light breakfast but I'd say I easily consumed 5,000 calories today and a decent amount of sodium that will hold all the water i drank today for a few days making the scale lie. Hoping to get back on track and hit my goal of 300 or under next Friday!

That's not too bad for one day. It'll only set you back a few days anyway. Remember, it takes more than one day to get fat, just as it takes more than one day to lose it. One day is small in the grand scheme of things as long as you get back on track. I've been losing weight since november and hit 33 lbs lost today, but I've had a few days where I went over maintenance and ate too much. The trick is, don't sweat it. It happened, and it's done. Push onwards, bro.0
