Can anyone give me any ideas on any exercises I should also do

    What exercises you "should" do is a rather broad topic. It depends what you enjoy, your current fitness level, your desired endstate, etc.

    Deadlifts.

    Squats.

    Bench press.

    Overhead press.

    I swim mostly because it is a full body exercise and even just playing around in the water with my daughter burns 300 calories. I also enjoy it and it is easier on my joints. I do intend to start lifting some once my back heals up (slipped disc, boo!).

    It's best to include cardio and resistance (strength) exercises, but in what form doesn't really matter unless you have a specific goal that would require a specific exercise. Just find something(s) you enjoy and do it regularly.

    You these. You need to find something you enjoy in order to stick with it. It is different for each person.

    Sorry for late reply not had access to internet. I do,like walking and cycling I am not very active though I will admit

    go on pinterest and check out some body workout routines. Lunges, squats, jumping jacks, hill climbers, burpees, things like that. Also bodybuilding.com has great ideas.
