Trying again

Hi! My name is Alexis. I am 27, and hit 184lbs. I've lost a few already, but am really hoping to keep the weight off this time. I have 3 kids and a great supporting husband ... whom by the way can't gain weight to save his life :-/ ...

Last year I was roughly 179. None of my clothes fit and it was driving me crazy. I worked my tail off and in 2 months lost 20 pounds. I eventually hit 150.. maybe lower I can't remember 100%. I was in the gym 2 hours a day, at least 5 days a week. Sometime more.

My marriage hit a rough patch, and I turned to food. Specifically peanut butter M&M's(those things are heaven to me.. which is a bad thing lol) - But in the last 8 months i've gained it all back, plus a few extra to top it off.

I want to make a lasting change, and work on finding things to turn to that don't involve food. I'm starting an 8 week program for busy people from fitness blender dot com tomorrow as well.

I'm looking for people to add me, to help see motivation in my "wall" on here. I only have a few people that I know personally and they don't really use this...

So please add me :)

Welcome Alexis, Sorry to hear you've been having a rough patch but you can do this. I've found that in order for this to work and last you need to make sure you have a good reason why you are doing this. It isnt enough to just want to lose weight you need to find a good reason why you want to lose the weight. When you do that you have something to keep you motivated when things get a little tough. Please feel free to add me as a friend and I would love to help support and motivate you

    Thanks!

Yes you're right. I truly do want to be more fit and healthy. I have 3 boys and I would love to be able to run around with them and be more active. We also live in the desert, and there are TONS of hiking trails and it'd be more fun to do if I didn't get winded so much.

Thank you for everyone who has added me so far! I really hope we can all motivate each other

I'll be glad to motivate in any way needed.

You dropped the weight before, you will do it again.
