best walking shoes to buy?

I am attempting to walk a half marathon in a month and have been just wearing my running shoes to train.What are the best shoes to buy?

    The ones that work with your feet. For that type of mileage, try going to a specialty running store where you can try on lots of pairs and find something that is comfortable. Sure you are not running. But you still need comfort to get you through that distance.

    I have found that salomon walking boots are by far the best for me, I do ten mile treks regularly, and haven't ever got so much as a blister, they are great for off road and hills to, the only problem is the price tag.
