Squat help

So i am without a gym membership and need some pointers. I am on a mission to lift my bum so the first thing that comes to mind is squatting. Do you need added weight to get results with squats or are body weight squats enough? What are some other things besides squats that are good for a good glute workout?

  • If you have no weight's I'd start with a chair or a stepping ladder. Once your butt touches, go right up with it. This is just to imitate a squat but there are probably a lot of good butt routines online without weights that you can either search for or get some feedback here from others who will share some sources/routines with you.

Bodyweight squats and lunges will do great for you. You don't need weight. Just do sets of 20-30. Move up from there. Also, you can lie on your back. Put your feet flat on the floor with your legs bent and push your pelvis up until you have a straight line from your knees to your shoulders. Do sets of 20 or less depending on your endurance.

Hell yea, that's some good **** right there. You can also add a few sets of glute leg raises, either on all fours or bent over standing. Which is likely just another variation of the method he suggested at the end. There's a lot you can do.
