Polar Ft80 Check heart rate transmitter

Hi guys

Ft80 just arrived from Amazon yesterday.
I used it on Core cardio and balance - Insanity
every 3 or 6 minutes it says 0 or check heart rate transmitter
I didn't buy nike fuelband SE or wait for galaxy gear 2
because all the reviews and comments urged me to try Polar Ft80
if anyone has any advice or help it would be appreciated.

    Just guessing here: is the chest strap on correctly (somewhere on the band it shows links and rechts)? You also have to wet the contacts on the front of the band.

    Had a similar problem when I first started. Make sure the contacts are wet, take the battery out and put it back in. It sorted itself, I worried about nothing, now it works fine.
