I binged but feel thinner

I'm at a healthy weight, but I'm really working on toning up/losing fat/maybe dropping a pound or two/etc. I've been clean eating and exercising, however last night I binged. I've had a history of binging/chewing/spitting out food in the past, but have really, really tried to quit and besides last night, I've been successful for about two weeks. (a HUGE win for me)
Anyway, I'd say I binged on probably around 2,000+ calories, but the thing is, I feel and look slimmer today. What happened? Where'd it all go? I've heard of something called a "refeeding" day, where you eat a lot and still stay slim, is that what happened?

Hi:
Congratulations for achieving a healthy weight.
If you have eaten more calories than your nutrition plan, just go back to your nutrition plan as soon as you can.
Your body weight loss will continue if you keep eating at a deficit.
One day of overeating or undereating will not make a difference, it is the trend over several days that will move the needle in the weight scale.
Good luck in your healthy journey0 -
I think Lyle McDonalds covered this in one of his blogs, search for LTDFLE...0
