Fitbit & MFP - how to log cardio

Hi all,

Not sure if I am posting this in right spot, new to community.

So I have been logging my food and cardio into MFP for a week now. My wife and I just got the Fitbit Flex and and have been using it for a few days. I got it to sync with MFP pretty easily and everything seems to be flowing between the two programs pretty well. My question is, now that they are sync MFP pulls the steps and exercise into it and calculates calorie credit. Because of this I am under the assumption that I no longer need to input my cardio workouts into MFP. However, today I noticed on my 3.5 mile treadmill run the credit that transferred over to MFP was only like -250 calories, when on the treadmill readout I burned 607 calories. 3 hours later now I am looking at MFP and it is showing fitbit calorie adjustment at only -67 calories..... I don't get it.

Anyone know the proper way to record or interpret this?

Thanks much for your input!

I started out by logging everything into MFP, but after a few weeks I just used the sync feature and it seems to work better. I am losing more weight and working out harder.

But that is just my opinion.
