Weighing a lot for your height/ frame

If you weigh a lot for your height/ frame, does it take longer for you to see more significant results with your weight loss? For instance, if a woman is 5'4 and weighs 145 pounds and another woman is also 5'4 but weighs 250 pounds, who would show more recognizable results if they both lost 25 pounds?

As a general rule, 25 off 145 will be a bigger change than 25 off 250...it's a greater pct of weight loss. However, if the 250 lb woman loses exclusively fat, while the 145 pounder mostly loses water and muscle, that may change things a bit0

You will notice it more on the smaller woman as she will lose over 17% of her weight and the heavier person will only be losing 10% of her starting weight.0
