I am a lady of 51, I suffer with arthritis in hips, shoulders and hands, so I don't have a lot of strength, my physio says I can walk as many miles a day as I want, but not to run under any circumstances.
I am losing the weight, but would love to tone up, but I have no idea were to start, what to buy, etc
Can anyone help?

Because you have medical conditions, you should check with your doctor before trying anything, no matter what the internet says. As you say, you don't have a lot of strength, so you may consider starting with just body weight resistance. Yoga may be a good choice for you. Check with your physio to see what activities you can do safely.0
