Will I always be skinny?

I honestly did not think that it would be so difficult to gain weight. I am so skinny and I don't like the way my bones stick out so I'm trying to pack on a few kilograms to also get to a healthy weight. The past week I've been eating roughly 3000 calories and I stopped doing cardio so that I wouldn't be burning any of my calories off but then this morning I weighed myself and yet again the scale has gone down. It's so depressing and I don't know what to do :(
