Need some support and motivation

I shouldn't say support and motivation, what I should say is someone who has the same goals, and wants to lose weight the healthy way and not the just don't eat way. I am very fond of food, I am a chef as well as college student, so I can't just eat only salad lol. I only have a few friends and none of them are interested in cutting back or working out, and my family isn't on the same page either.
My mom recently lost about a hundred pounds, but all she did was eat rice and fish, and that is just not how I want to lose weight. She lost the weight, but went in the hospital, and as of now as put twenty pounds back on. If I'm going to lose weight and change my lifestyle I want to do it in a healthy way.
Wow that was a lot longer than I expected. So I guess what I am trying to say is I need some friends who aren't about an extreme diet for now, but are about a lifestyle change to getting healthier.

    Hey there,

    I woke up feeling a little under motivated today. I had a bad food weekend. I ate everything bad I could get my hands on and lets not forget the wine!

    I have been enjoying cooking though and have stuck with mainly a Mediterranean style diet. I have been getting good recipes and keeping the calories under control for the most part.

    Feel free to add me and we can bounce food ideas off each other. Keep ourselves motivated and well satisfied foodwise too
