Question about protocol.

Looking to get down to 130ish.
I have been weightlifting since high school and played many sports so I am already where I would like to be muscular wise, I truly have no desire to put on more muscle. In this case, should I eat less than the recommended 1 gram protein per lb? I have been increasing my protein but it has stalled my results. Speaking out of vanity, I'm looking to decrease my leg size but since you can't spot reduce I'm going for overall loss. Thanks guys
