Anyone just starting Stronglifts 5x5

I started yesterday with workout A. I just started with the bar on everything. I probably could have done more on squats but wow am I sore today from bench!

    The soreness eases up in a relatively short amount of time.

    And thank you for the group link. I have seen the group before, I don't feel like I new to be in a women's only group though, just looking for people in general who are starting out lifting like me. Or even who have been doing it for a whole, man or women :)

    there's a regular group too if you search for it. both will have entire threads devoted to people that are just starting out with answers to the many questions they have, along with many things a newbie wouldn't even think to ask of yet. use it if you like. or don't

    I just started a few weeks ago. Still working on getting my form down. I also started with the bar on everything except squats. Now I'm up to 55 lbs squats, 80 lb bench, 80 lb rows, still on the bar for overhead press (can't seem to get my form right) and 125 lb deadlifts. I love it.

    Madhatter2013 sounds like you're doing great! The form is hard. Luckily my father is a personal trainer so I had him come over and look at my form. I think I have it mostly down.
