As the subject says!!
I bought a turkey leg for £2. Its huge!! Bargain!!
Now...what to do with it?!
only feeding me, and treating the cats if they're lucky, have no issue making things from leftovers...

Look up a recipe for braised turkey legs in white wine and vegetables like onions, garlic, carrots and celery. You will have to brown the leg, remove it, sauté the veggies in the drippings (there won't be many so you might have to add a little broth), then add the wine and some herbs like rosemary or sage. Then it will have to cook for about 2 hours to get it nice and soft and yummy.
I would skip the rice or potatoes and have the delicious tender meat without the skin on a salad. Perhaps a mixed green salad with citrus in it would be nice.0 -
